A new senior opportunity has arisen for a Director of Partnerships & Direct Sales with a prestigious and highly respected multinational insurer in the UK.


The Company
Our client are a well-established and successful multinational Insurer with a significant market presence in the UK across the commercial insurance sector. The Insurer have a strong brand within the insurance community, one that is committed to delivering innovative and results orientated solutions for their clients, be they large corporate customers or small SME start-ups.


The Role
The company have embarked on a sustained period of investment to drive the growth of the company over the next five years. One of the Insurers key focuses is to significantly expand their partnership (affinity) and direct commercial business in the UK.
The Insurer has an established and profitable division focused on partnership and affinity clients, as well as direct commercial clients (transacted purely online via a mixture of SEO and PPC).
They are looking to substantially improve their market share over the next five years and as such, require an experienced and proven leader to head up and drive the performance of this division.
You will have full control of the business, with responsibility for defining, setting and implementing strategy to build sustainable and substantial growth over the coming five years with the focus on:
  • Maximise opportunities in the partnership division to cross sell product lines
  • Improve non-SEO/PPC sourced new business results
  • Build a robust telemarketing capability
  • Build a robust business development capability across all target product lines for the partnership division
  • Evolve the account and client management capability for the business



What you'll need to succeed
We are keen to speak to individuals who have a proven track record in leading businesses in the affinity / partnerships and/or direct markets for commercial insurance. You will be a motivated, driven and dynamic leader who can set and drive strategy and change, with the focus on achieving significant growth for the business over the coming five years.

On offer is a competitive basic salary of between £110,000 and £130,000 plus up to 30% bonus and a very generous wider benefits package including company pension scheme, car and health insurance.
