A well respected client of ours has a position available for a Franchise Support Manager. Our client acts as a wholesaler for 2500 brokers nationwide, providing them with the best possible products to fit their requirements. They work as an intermediary, sitting between the Insurer and the Broker.
To ensure that a range of offices are provided with a prompt and efficient service for help and advice with placing business. To manage a team of Underwriting Advisors with motivation and organise their training and development. To act as a referral point on queries and provide help and support on day to day insurance matters for offices and staff.
·The core skill and experience for this role is a high level of broking experience, particularly commercial insurance experience.
·A high level of understanding of insurers and their product offerings
·A thorough knowledge of all current and new products
·CII Cert as a minimum, Diploma level preferred
·General knowledge of the Insurance market and legislation requirements
·Ability to lead, manage and develop staff
·A professional approach with all stakeholders, in particular the franchisees
·A collaborative and innovative approach to working
·Act with integrity at all times when working with stakeholders
·A competent level of knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook
·Good written, oral and communication skills
·A competent level of knowledge of the internal computer system and procedures
Main Duties & Responsibilities
·Line Management of the team
·Interaction and engagement with our franchises and their office teams
·Delegate workloads effectively
·Liaise and provide feedback to all key stakeholders
·Provide regular feedback to Head of Franchise Development
·Ensure smooth day to day running of the team in:-
·Providing help and advice to offices of which markets to approach for any given risk for all types of insurance
·Assisting with any queries from offices across multiple channels
·Referral point for branch/departmental staff and brokers
·To provide advice on cross sale opportunities
·To fully understand all products and services available to offices
·To provide help with preparing presentations for offices
·Identifying training needs of offices
·To provide feedback as to what products are working well
·To provide monthly Management Information to Head of Franchise Development
·Training of staff on all aspects and products
·Dealing with general administration
