Temporary Management Accountant
About the Company
A group of insurance intermediaries a Lloyd's broker a MGA and retail brokers. The Group places over £40m of premiums trades from three offices in Kent, London and Manchester.
In this role you will be required to update and improve the monthly reporting pack for reporting the businesses performance to management and shareholders. As a key member of the senior finance team you will have the opportunity to build the reporting systems and process for current and acquired businesses. The role, which is hands on, also requires a commercial outlook and will be expected to add value as well as managing risk.
·Creation of and updating the monthly reporting pack.
·Creation of budget models and forecasts as required.
·Advising management on performance and commenting on an exception basis.
·Assisting the team in the monthly reporting cycle.
·Production and monitoring of KPI's.
·Cash flow reporting.
·Ad hoc analysis.
Knowledge and Skills
- Ideally Educated to degree level.
- Preferably ACMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Insurance experience
- Excellent systems and Excel capability
Salary: to £50,000
Contract length: 4 months minimum
