Broker Back-Up / Technician
to £35,000 depending on Experience

About the Company:
A specialist insurance intermediary who focus on placing complex liability and other specialty insurance and reinsurance risks with insurers in all major markets including Lloyd's and the London Market, and other international insurance and reinsurance markets. They provide clients with expert risk management advice, policy placement, and claims administration and resolution

Key Duties:
·Preparing market reform contracts, evidence of cover, debit and credit notes and premium closings
·Preparing Endorsements where required thorough checking of wordings, slips and other documentation
·Submitting documents to Xchanging Ins-Sure Services, for policy signing and sealing & wrapping services (where appropriate)
·Developing and managing relationships with market representatives, Brokers, Clients, Underwriters and responding to queries where necessary
·Complying with all legal and regulatory requirements to ensure obligations are met; maintaining up to date knowledge of contract certainty codes, market protocols and market guidelines
·Being aware of wider market developments and initiatives in order to promptly respond to changes; attending market briefings to ensure templates reflect current developments
·Understanding and employing the use of Lloyd's Q.A. and Crystal database
·Ensuring excellent service and compliance using meticulous checking and organisation skills

Key Skills:
·Solid experience of working on US Insurance Policies in a London Market Environment.
·Familiar with London Market Reform Initiatives, including
· Contract Certainty
· Market Reform Slip
· Lloyd's Quality Assurance tool, Crystal
·Awareness of latest Lloyd's Contract Checking and Documentation processes
·Working knowledge of Standard Market Wordings, Clauses and Endorsements
·Knowledge of US & International Regulatory requirements
·Ability to identify and resolve potential technical issues
