DUA Auditor

Based in the City of London
Salary to £55,000 + bonus & bens
Permanent Contract

An opportunity to join a global insurer and a recognised leader in the international DUA environment.

You will be an integral member of a centralised team of specialist's conducting coverholder audits with partners in the UK and across the globe. As such this role will allow the successful candidate to travel extensively and visit coverholders across the UK and in a variety of countries.

Our client is looking for an ambitious person and they are willing to support and train in order to develop skills and audit knowledge. The prerequisite for the role are a strong understanding of the DUA market and some knowledge of coverholder review, compliance, governance and procedures in the Lloyds and Company arena.

Role Purpose


·Conduct DUA (Delegated Underwriting Authority) audits assigned in the audit plan in order to provide assurance that the DUA agreements written via the Lloyd's and Company market are operated to the expected standards
General Description
·Schedule, plan and conduct assigned on-site Coverholder audits both in the UK and overseas, in accordance with agreed procedures and scope.
·Delivery of audit findings and management action plans via written reports to senior management.
·Conduct pre and post-audit meetings with underwriters to understand operational process and communicate the audit outcome.
·Contribute to the continual review and enhancement of the Audit Scope and procedures.
·Analyse audit reports undertaken on behalf of by external service providers and escalate any issues that require further attention.


Essential Requirements
·Have appropriate experience gained in an audit or DUA environment.
·A good understanding of the current regulatory environment and its application.
·Display good communication skills and be able to lead post audit de-brief meetings where necessary with Senior Management.
·Have a good level of computer literacy (Word & Excel).
·Have strong analytical and report writing skills.
·Work autonomously in the delivery of the annual audit schedule.
·Have a flexible approach to travel within the UK and Overseas.
·Have the ability to develop good relationships with brokers, clients and colleagues.
