Commercial Development Executive
I am working with a market leading Broker who is looking for a Development Executive in Reading to focus on mid-market and commercial business. This is a field and office based role, with travel to clients required where appropriate.
The key purpose of the role will be to identify and secure relationships with new businesses turning over in excess of £50 million and the relationships developed will be with Directors, decision makers and c-suite individuals through a variety of means i.e. networking, introducers, referrals, cold calling and client development.
The Development Executive will be responsible for building new relationships, assisting them in the onboarding process, delivering the relationship management strategy and ensuring a smooth transition to the account management team for service delivery. The persons attitude, behaviours and ethos will play a huge part of this role and is a very important consideration.
Candidates wishing to be considered for this role must have experience in new business development, specifically commercial insurance business, coupled with a strong understanding of corporate business-either from a broking or underwriting perspective.
