Commercial Claims Account Handler

In the East Midlands insurance market, you generally see 'Claims Handler' and 'Account Handler' roles online. You may have experience in both of these positions but more often than not have to focus your career on one more than the other.
There's a very unique opportunity available in the Derbyshire insurance market,,,an established insurance business (with proven growth year on year) have an opportunity available for a hybrid Commercial Claims Handler and Account Handler...just imagine having that on your CV.
If successful, you will be joining a close-knit team who all get along socially inside and outside of work. They all understand that insurance can get a little repetitive which is why they like to mix it up and get everyone actively involved with each client.
As an important member of the business, you will focus 50% of your time assisting commercial clients with their claims. You will handle claims from cradle to grave, ensuring the client is kept informed during the whole process.
The other half of your role be spent building relationships with existing clients, handling renewals, MTAs and identifying gaps in cover. You will have the opportunity to deal with a range of commercial policies including commercial combined/package, liability, motor fleet, motor trade and property owners amongst others.
To be considered, you'll have a proven background as either a Claims Handler or Account Handler. What you must have though is commercial insurance experience, you must be well-rounded and have dealt with a range of commercial policies. (Whether that is within claims or broking).
