You will work on a range of commercial new business cases for a large team of Development Executives, working closely with them to get the new business broker presentation right before marketing it to Insurers.
You will be tenacious in chasing Insurers down to get deals done and passionate about getting the details right first time, ensuring a high rate of success. The client base is varied but contains a large proportion of motor fleet and trade risks.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have prior experience of working in an account handling role, have strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance but most importantly the tenacity and guile to work in a new business broker role.
Knowledge and use of Acturis is needed for this role. A proactive attitude and the ability to push Insurers to make decisions and deals is essential.
