Senior Account Handler
We are working on behalf of a reputable and successful family owned regional brokerage, highly respected with a market leading presence in a niche sector. Operating out of provincial offices they have a friendly and informal culture but are well known in the insurance industry for a personable yet quality focused approach to insurance provision.
Working within an established commercial team you will be responsible for broking risks typically ranging from £5,000 to £200,000 in premium across a wide variety of industries. Supporting a team of account executives, your responsibilities will include negotiation with the market to find best product and premium for their clients whilst providing consistently high levels of service. A senior member of the team, you will report into the unit manager but act as a referral point to a less experienced members of the team as and when required.
Essentially applicants must come from a commercial broking background, possessing knowledge of all classes of insurance and having had exposure to a wide range of sectors. You should be organised and result focused with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in order to be successful.
