Financial Controller
An opportunity to become the Financial Controller within a uniquely structured and innovative insurance business that comprises of an insurer, Managing Agency and London Market broker.
They underwrite a range of commercial lines products via a network of broker partners in addition to offering binding authority agreements to MGA's and brokers.
Working with the support of a small team of finance and accounting specialists you will work closely with the CEO and CFO, to ensure the effective management and oversight of the group finance functions.
Dealing with the following aspects:
-Group and management accounts
-Banking, bordereaux payments and settlements
-Budget planning and preparation
-ORSA / SFCR / RSR / CASS
-Preparing Annual Financial Statements
-Business plans
-Group audit
-Regulatory returns; Gabriel, FCA, PRA, Lloyds
-Quarterly investment portfolio reconciliations
Responsible for a team that is deals with:
-Uploads to Sun Accounting software
-Management of coverholder premium bordereaux
-Transfer of funds to Lloyds
-Claims payments
-Staff and business expenses
-Credit control
This role will suit an experienced Financial Controller with a background in the Lloyds marketplace, who possesses a diverse range of skills, expertise and knowledge. The ability to oversee a small team is desirable together with experience using Sun Accounting.
