The individual will be part of the Finance team. The role will also work in liaison with Back Office / Technicians as required. Her / His main focus will be managing the Underwriters processes and ensure they run smoothly with a view of improving them and make them less manual.
*Sending out monthly statements to underwriters
*Timely releasing of premiums through Xchanging (Lloyds platform)
*Preparing weekly payment runs
*Precise and organized Underwriters payment matching
The individual should have previous experience of working in Insurance industry and will therefore have a basic understanding of the main processes of an Insurance Broker. The individual must have an appetite for resolving issues, getting things right, improving processes and be enthusiastic to learn and develop.
*A team-oriented person who can communicate with and support others in finance
*Ability to build strong working relationships
*Attention to detail and accuracy
*Intermediate level Excel
*Proactive mindset with a "can do, will do" attitude
*Not scared to work in a fast pace environment
*Knowledge of RiskPro or any similar software
*Experience in a similar position
