Senior Professional Indemnity Renewals Underwriter

We are representing a well-established global insurer with strong market presence and exciting plans for growth. Their Manchester operation services brokers throughout the regions for both new and existing business dealing with a broad range of commercial and niche risks. We are working on their behalf to secure an experienced Professional Indemnity Underwriter to join their expanding team.

Joining a small yet highly skilled team you will be responsible for underwriting premiums within the mid-corporate arena across a broad range of professions. Your role will be varied, dealing predominantly existing business, making underwriting decisions, building and maintaining relationships with a diverse broker panel. Mentoring and developing less experienced colleagues will also be a key component of this appointment.  

Strong knowledge of Professional Indemnity business gained within an underwriting background is essential. Candidates must be self-motivated and relationships focused, ideally with previous experience taking technical referrals from more junior underwriters.
