Broker Support/Operations Technician - Binder Team

BROKER SUPPORT/OPERATIONS ANALYST to £35,000
Unique opportunity to join a leading Lloyds Broker in a hybrid role.

Skillset required: Analytical mind/experience within London Market insurance.
Binder experience is preferred but not essential
Broker support experience is desirable but not essential, any insurance background will require training and development which will be provided.
Intermediate Excel and/or Power BI essential


Role:
*To support broking team with day-to-day relationships with underwriters and clients and the other Divisions.
*To assist with reporting and analytical work on Binding Authority data.

Duties:
*Produce analytical reviews to support renewal placements by interrogating data sets and producing excel or Power Bi presentations
*Liaise with Brokers and/or Clients and prepare and populate an MRC with appropriate information.
*Prepare an MRC and supporting documentation in accordance with templates and MRC requirements.
*Work with central divisions as required to assist with payments, documentation and queries.
*Oversee and check market documentation, check and approve client documentation prior to obtaining authorised signatories
*Participate in the explanation of the scope of cover and the terms and conditions of the policy to client as appropriate.
*Negotiate and liaise in conjunction with broking teams with underwriters in placing risks as required using electronic placing platforms.
*Service and maintain ongoing relationships.
