Telephone Based Insurance Account Manager

We are representing a market leading, global insurer and a major player in the general insurance and financial services arena. They pride themselves on their broad commercial product offering, and their ability to cater for a diverse range of brokers ranging from smaller independents through to nationals.

To support plans for growth they are now looking to attract a number of telephone Accounts Managers. Responsible for a nationally based broker panel your role will involve working across a broad range of commercial products, ensuring retention of business, increasing income and promoting brand awareness via effective telephone-based contact. Working closely with underwriting, distribution and claims teams your role will be varied and interesting involving high levels of broker and client interaction.

Ideally applicants will come from an insurance background and have had previous exposure to commercial insurance, although candidates with account management experience alone will be considered. Essentially you should be an assertive and tenacious individual with the ability to successfully build relationships remotely. Excellent communication skills and smart appearance are key, as is an enthusiastic and personable approach.
