Job Title - Insurance Account Handler (Motor Trade Insurance)
Contract - Permanent
Salary - £23,000 - £28,000

An excellent opportunity to join a National Insurance Brokers who are rapidly expanding. This is a busy office with excellent retention of existing clients who enjoy a high level of customer service. You will need to cover a specific book long standing Motor clients for 12 months and then move into the Commercial team.

The Role: -
-Responding to enquiries from prospects and clients in a courteous and helpful manner and ensure that all information required is obtained and communicated.
-Completing the key task of "fact finding" to identify clients' requirements and to provide a quotation to fulfil their needs.
-Maintaining an accurate record of the assessment of the clients' awareness of risk and insurance as well as their circumstances and objectives.
-Using the information gathered, determine which insurers will provide the most competitive rates for the covers required.
-Conduct negotiations with insurance companies and manage the associated business risk
-Discussing any additional covers to ensure that all the insurance requirements are satisfied.
-Ensuring that system records are created for new business and updated following all client contacts.
-Chasing and receiving payments for new business and renewals
-Issuing invoices and policy documents and updating client records
-Maintaining an acceptable level of product knowledge by keeping up-to-date with product developments.

The Candidate -
-Proven Motor Trade insurance experience
-A commitment to service and customer orientation.
-Effective IT/ PC skills.
-Excellent telephone manner.
-The ability to quickly and accurately enter information, produce documentation, and supply information.
-Good numeric skills and capable of multi-tasking.
-Outgoing & confident with strong communications skills.
-1 Years + Commercial account handling experience
